Last December holidays, my family and I went on a short vacation to Legoland in Johor Bahru. It was a good 4 to 5 hour drive from our home in Subang but we survived the journey. We stayed a night at a newly built hotel, KSL Resort which was connected to a mall. I really liked that idea as we could cross over to get things that we needed like bottled water and bread from the bakery for the next day. We went over to the Johor Premium Outlet the evening we arrived with high hopes of finding some great discounts but was pretty disappointed as it mostly consisted of big brands like Prada, Georgio Armani and only a handful of buyable brands like Nike, Cotton On and Adidas. I was hoping to find a nice leather backpack or jacket from there but only came back with a pair of Nike sport shoes. I was so grateful for the shoes as it saved me a whole lot of leg and back aches from the amount of standing at Legoland. The weather was kind on the day we went. A little sun and rain once in a while and eventhough there was a little bit of queue for each ride, I had a great time with my family. The people there were nice and friendly too, helping us take family pictures and all greeting us with a big smile. So, here are some pictures from Legoland!
They're doing the Gangnam Style Dance!
The tuna sandwich from The Cafe
The Chicken Pie and Apple Puff (I think) from The Cafe too. I can't recall the exact names haha.
Oh, and I met a buddy who's a Canon fan too!
When we visit Johor, we would stay in KSL hotel too! :)
ReplyDeleteHope to go there some day! Was it crowded when you went?
Oh! It's not a bad hotel right? New and all. Hahaha. A little, it was a normal amount of crowd and queue that could be found at any theme park. Since it was the holiday season, they had a limit for the amount of people that could enter. So, that helped. I think it could have been worst (:
DeleteMiew San went there yesterday! I'd also be asking her how she find the theme park!
DeleteKeep posting, for I'll keep reading (and commenting!!!) :D
