An Impromptu Detour to myBurgerLab

Who knew that I will sleep in until midday on a Sunday this holidays. Time is flying by so fast with me enjoying this short holiday before college starts. So, I started off my morning healthy with a pineapple and peach flavored yogurt. I then went out with my family to Sunway Pyramid where I found 2 gorgeous flats from Ti Amo and some girly hair ties from Daiso. We decided to go over to A&W to have waffles and root beer float since we were all craving for something sweet after a tiring 4 hours walking around the mall. Dylan was already cranky from all the walking. After our stop at A&W, my dad suggested that we try out the burgers from myBurgerLab for dinner since it was only 5 at that time and hopefully we won't get caught in the crowd. So we made our way there and was able to reach there at 6 after a few errand stops. The restaurant opens at 5 and already the place was full of people and there was a long queue at the cashier! I was determined this time to try it out after regretting my last visit where I left because of the abnormally long queue. The wait was truly worth it!

My mum and I ordered the Beef Say Cheese (the one on the left) and the Chicken Egg Dilemma (the one on the right). The take away burgers came in a nice container so it is easy to carry and a complimentary red sauce, their homemade chili sauce. I would have to say that both the burgers were delicious in their own way. The Beef Say Cheese was like a classic cheese burger with a thick patty and a generous amout of cheddar cheese while the Chicken Egg Dilemma had it's own twist with a fried chicken breast top with an egg salad. Both the burgers came with lettuce, oven roasted cherry tomatoes and charcoal bun. Mind me, I am a carb junkie eventhough I'm trying to shed some weight. I indulge in carbs and this charcoal bun was so good and light! It isn't like any regular burger bun and it definitely does not make me feel guilty after finishing it. The red sauce was one of kind with a hint of pepper and not so much of spiciness to it. I reckon it will go very well with their fries.

 Beef Say Cheese, RM11

Chicken Egg Dilemma, RM15.50

Another thing to note is the friendly and perky ambiance. I was greeted with a cheerful 'Welcome!' at the door by one of the staff and the pretty lady at the cashier was so very helpful with her recommendations and her patience while we made up our mind on which burgers to try. I don't exactly fancy congested and packed places but I will definitely go back to dine in. The prices for the burgers (not including side orders like add ons and drinks) ranged from RM10 - RM20 so if you are a first timer planning to try it out, be prepared to spend a little extra. Well, there is a saying that everything good comes with a price. Below are some details on myBurgerLab.
