Sky High

My lifelong ambition was always to be a pilot. It all started on my way back from LA with my parents when I was younger. My dad managed to get permission from the captain to let me into the cockpit where the captain explained to me a few of the basic controls on how to handle the aircraft. Ever since then, I was amazed with the idea of flying. I didn't really pursue the passion to fly until recently. I managed to persuade my dad to bring me to Subang Airport where Subang Flying Club offers this program where everyone can fly. You pay according to the amount of time up in the air and the type of aircraft you choose. I went for the Cessna 152 for half an hour.

It was truly an experience I wish not to end.

Result's Day

It was result's day yesterday and I am still overwhelmed with what I got. I achieved straight As, a total of 10 subjects for my SPM. I guess all that last minute sleepless cramming nights paid off in the end. Trust me when I say I was near crazy the whole examination period. It was one of the most stressful moments I have gone through. I must say I couldn't have done it without the endless support from my parents, the patience from my teachers and the help from my fellow batch mates. My friends especially, worked together and had many group discussions (from meeting up at houses to whatsapp messages) to help one another excel in the examination. 

Honestly, I think sitting for the papers wasn't half as nerve-wrecking as sitting in the hall with all your friends surrounding you waiting for the teacher to announce your results. I was shaking when our assistant headmistress started announcing those who achieved straight As in random order. And when my name was announced, it was like a whole roller coaster of feelings passed through me and I ended up crying in my mum's arms after receiving the slip. As embarrassing as it was, my mum started crying along. Haha

So my friends and I decided to head over to One Utama to celebrate. We ended up having lunch and watching a movie. 

Birthday Celebration : Part 2

On Saturday, I went on a journey with my friends to Skytrex Adventure at Bukit Cahaya, Shah Alam. I had a splendid time going through all the high rope courses it had to offer. The 4 of us opted for the Extreme Course which was RM 55. I must say it was worth the price. Some obstacles may have been a little more challenging than the others but it was fun all in all. We bumped into a few other people who had also came in groups and it was nice to have strangers motivating each other to get through each obstacle slow and steadily, one step at a time. Most of the obstacles needed you to have a stable stance and full focus on your balancing rather than your body's strength and agility. So, most people will be able to enjoy the adrenaline so long as you are below 100kg. We took approximately 3 hours to finish the whole 23 course and had to rush for lunch with a few others. Lucky us, the shuttle bus Skytrex provided to transport us back to base didn't took too long to arrive! So, we made our way to Empire, refreshed ourselves by washing our faces and spraying on perfume and met up with the others at T Forty Two.

Birthday Celebration : Part 1

We cool.

 

I met up with a few of my friends at Sunway Pyramid for lunch yesterday. It has been quite awhile since we last hung out as some of them had already started college and was busy with classes. We had a wonderful time just spending time together and being goofy as usual. This is the furthest to a decent group shot I have from that day as most of them were either blurred or one of us were not in it. It was kind of the waitress there to help us out but I am never trusting waitresses into taking pictures of us ever again!

We then headed to Meeples, a European board game cafe in SS15. It was my first time there but I had tons of fun, they will definitely see me around again!
