Happy Belated Birthday Yap Yi Peng! Eventhough I've only truly met her last year (after being in the same school for 3 years), our friendship have sprout and we've been close ever since. She gives the greatest advice and we're weirdly alike, in our own way.

Here are some pictures from her birthday lunch at Pizza Uno on Monday.

We girls later crashed her house. We all got treated to delicious banana cupcakes made by her sister as she was coincidentally baking at that moment. Oh what perfect timing we have! Yi Peng was also kind enough to share one her presents, mouth-watering macaroons made by Daniel's mum. So that's two treats for me in a day. I was a happy girl :D

No day out with the girls will be complete without pictures. So, feast your eyes!

Have you guys played Finger Twister? If you haven't, you should so try it out! It really flexes your finger muscles and you'll be surprised by how flexible some people's fingers are.

It was a good day spent with the mates. Happy Belated Birthday to Yi Peng again and cheers to many more years of friendship to come!

An Over-Thinker I Am

I tend to overthink things sometimes. It may be a good thing at times whilst a bad thing at all other times. It normally causes me to sleep late at night or get lost in my own world for a moment in the day. When I start, it's hard for me to stop. I'll just overthink one topic after another until sometimes I cry my eyes and heart out till I fall asleep. It may be a small matter like where did I misplace my hairband to the consequences of my doings to fussing over my future.

Eventhough I hate overthinking, I can't seem to find a way to make my head stop. Every time I try to make it stop, it'll just worsen. The subject that I'm thinking of becomes more and more random that at one time I even thought of what it'd be like to be an animal. Yes, and animal. I can't remember what animal it was though. Sometimes I think of all the horrible things I've done and wish I could turn back time and take it back.

~ Raising my voice
~ Not finishing my homework
~ Lying
~ Making jokes that turn out rather mean
~ Unconsciously talking behind someone's back

The list goes on..

It may not be a big thing but to me, it is. I'm honestly sorry if I have ever done or said anything to hurt anyone. I have much to improve on.

Every night before I sleep, events of stuff that happened throughout the day would replay through my head automatically and I would think of how it would be if I had done things differently and if I have done something that I shouldn't have, what should I do to repair it. It sucks to not have enough sleep and be a grumpy person the next day but I would prefer overthinking over having a nightmare. Dreams tires me out and drains away all my energy. Overthinking however wastes my time. I guess they're equally bad. I'd like to think that everyone out there is an overthinker, it's just how you control yourself that differs each person from the other.

A Day With The Girls

It has been quite some time since I had a day out with the girls, Wan Jin and XinVee. Everyone has been so busy especially with school to catch up with each other. So, lucky for the end year holidays, our last school holiday in fact, we finally got to hang out! We spent our time making doughnuts and of course doing what girls do best, talk. Haha!

Later, impromptu decisions to have lunch together at Taipan lead us to Logenhaus. We all opt for their lunch sets that came with soup of the day and a drink. XinVee had Vietnamese beef noodles, Wan Jin the roasted half chicken and I the pasta with chicken and turkey ham. Wan Jin enjoyed her meal but XinVee and I weren't too excited about ours. XinVee found her beef a little too rare and mine had too much of herbs for my liking. Although my meal didn't turn out as expected, the service was good and I liked the ambiance there.

A huge thanks to Faidhi who took only 5 minutes to come over to McDonald's after receiving an unexpected call from us! A good day spent with the girls..and a guy. Haha.

Hello there! I would like to dedicate my first post to a poor little lizard's skeleton that my mother discovered earlier today. My mum scared the shit out of me when she approached me with the lizard while I was doing some work on the computer. The poor fellow lost it's tail and both it's upper limbs. It must have died in sorrow.

Okay, I may appear to be a little freaky now, dedicating my first post to a dead lizard. Haha! Oh well.
